    Biographical note

    Joseph E. Losee, MD, FAAP, FACS is the Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Director of its Pittsburgh Cleft-Craniofacial Center. The Cleft-Craniofacial Center is one of the oldest and busiest interdisciplinary centers in the nation.

    Richard E. Kirschner, MD, FAAP, FACS is Mary Downs Chair in Craniofacial Treatment and Research and Director of the Cleft Lip and Palate Program at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania.
