    Author comments

    Rex Miller is Professor Emeritus of Industrial Technology at State University of New York-College at Buffalo, where he taught technical curriculums for more than 40 years. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 texts for vocational and industrial arts programs, including McGraw-Hill’s Carpentry & Construction, now in its fifth edition.
    Mark R. Miller is a professor of technology and coordinator for the industrial management programs in the Department of Human Resource Development & Technology at the University of Texas at Tyler. He teaches technology courses for future middle managers and has authored or co-authored more than 35 technical books and numerous technical articles.
